PoQsiKom Consortium Meeting at TRUMPF in Ditzingen

On March 23 and 24, 2023, the consortium meeting of the PoQsiKom research project took place at TRUMPF in Ditzingen.

The meeting served as an exchange between the consortium partners. The partners presented and discussed the status of the research topics and the common demonstrator:

  • Crypto agility based on Open Quantum Safe, a software library for post quantum cryptography
  • Prototypical implementation of the BRSKI (Bootstrapping Remote Secure Key Infrastructure) protocol
  • New insides into the acceleration of CRYSTALS-Dilithium and FrodoKEM on OpenTitans’s OTBN
  • An evaluation of WOT for secure communication
  • Implementation results of secure industrial video services
  • An architecture and safety concept for the secure remote acknowledgement of safety devices
  • Application of crypto agility in the PoQsiKom demonstrator for the remote acknowledgement of safety devices

A visit of the TRUMPF in-house exhibition INTECH with insights into TRUMPF’s new business model pay-per-part completed the meeting. The outcomes of PoQsiKom will pay into this business model where machines are operated remotely.
